Recently, I went to KL for a company’s meeting, a common activity in my line of work. The only difference this time was, my colleagues and I have secretly planned for a farewell event for our immediate superior, our Project Manager we fondly called “Boss”. Boss is not leaving the company, he had just been transferred to another team. However, our team has grown over the past couple of years, through thick and thin, and ups and downs, that we feel more like a family rather than colleagues and superior. Thus, seeing Boss leaving us, is just so sad…
So, being in
the “farewell” mood, we felt like having a good dinner together, a little
splurge we wouldn’t mind. We wanted something that we had not had together before,
a place that we can eat whatever we wanted, as much as we wanted, and dine as
long as we wanted… JAPANESE BUFFET!
We decided
to go to Jogoya (http://www.jogoyarestaurants.com).
The buffet spread was just glorious!
The Shrimp was fresh, sweet, crunchy, and creamy at the same time. YUM!
Fresh and pickled oysters.
Fresh sashimi.
Nice sushi.
Our team (minus Michael, too bad).
Fresh seafood, ready to be cooked according to your preference.
Fresh and wide array of sashimi.
Variety of sushi.
Chinese dimsum, including some premiums such as abalone dumpling.
Fresh seafood and meat, ready for the teppan.
My favourite station!
They have good stuff too.
When it comes to desserts, females have a second stomach.
Chocolate fountain with marshmallow.
Frankly speaking, I make better tiramisu.
Unfortunately, their cakes were so-so only.
Well, I certainly had a lot of good food here, will definitely be back one day.
See you again in my next post! Toodles!
